W parents are going crazy. They don't know what to do. Before they could only point at the SAT scores to show that they are better than Blair. Now that Blair scores have shoot up, they are sh$##ing on themselves now that their only advantage has disappeared. NMSF ? Nope Presidential ? Nope Science bowls ? Nope Siemens ? Nope Science olympiads ? Nope Math olympiads ? Nope Intel/Regeneron scholars ? Hell no What are they good at actually ? ??
Oh, oh, oh! I know. Call on me! Call on me! Casual racism and classism.
Sad but true
I wonder if Blair was so great why it is the poor people who go there? If the W parents wanted to go there they would bid up Blair houses and price out all the creepy residents. But that doesn’t happen. Hummmm I wonder why ??? Striver
This post right here is the perfect example of what the W schools are good at...Racism and classism Couldn't make this up
Whatever that post is, it does not change the fact that Blair is not as good a HS as the Ws. It is as simple as that.
LOL Blair is way better than the W's. Blair has more of the above than all the W combined. It's as simple as that.
Looking at hard facts it sure looks that way.
Blair magnet has. Not the rest of the Blair, which is what we are talking about. If you want to talk about irrelevant issues, that is fine. I am happy to see you trying to create illusions to deceive yourself. Apparently the OP already made the right choice.
This thread is about STEM Look at the title.
Yes, look at the title. We are not here ranking HS STEM programs. We are helping the OP to choose the right ES. Which means: if the kid does not get into the magnet, this ES should eventually feed the kid to somewhere strong in STEM. For that, we compare (the part of) schools kids can get in by living there. The magnet part of Blair does not come into play in this discussion.
