Look at the transcript from yesterday and read any of the dozens of statements Dems have put out. Dems are happy to give money for real border security. But they won’t give one penny for trump’s stupid wall.

A far better use of resources would be to: 1) beef up the immigration court system so that cases can be adjudicated more quickly. That there are illegal immigrants and asylum seekers lingering in limbo for years is ridiculous; and 2) step up prosecutions of those hiring illegal immigrants. Without jobs, there is no reason to come to America. [/quote]

Exactly. The wall is a stupid, EXPENSIVE symbol. Money would be more effective elsewhere.
