Typically the HGC teacher can give a quick answer. Information from the DD is reliable as [b]the HGC teacher will announce it to the class[/b].  This group of kids who have been screened into the  HGC program will need to be adequately addressed as the system just failed them.[/quote]

No teacher is ever going to make such an announcement.  Ever.
