Were you ever a middle schooler? I was, and girls had to deal with a lot of abuse because of middle school culture and the larger culture. And based on what I see our children dealing with, not much has changed. Middle school is when our daughters start having their clothes policed. When they begin puberty and are in trouble because of it. Because breasts are enticing, and rear ends are too obvious. When they're responsible for how others react to them, and not just for how they behave.[/quote]
