I believe there are many benefits to immigration other than just funding social security but you may be notification by self interest.

No it doesn’t. The system would still work if we gave immigrants a path to citizenship. Social Security only collapses if there are more elderly people than young. With U.S. birth rates, that is inevitable unless the population is supplemented through immigration.[/quote]

You're mistaken. There have went studies on this. Our current model depends on then contributing but not fully participating  (other than hospital coverage). It would crumble if they had full access.  Or should we reward illegal behavior [/quote]
