It's not the travel dummy (travel much further for club games) - it's the 40 people in the stands and crappy/lame atmosphere for Class 6 State Final.  feels like a neutral site scrimmage without the fanbase that shows up when 2 NoVA powerhouse teams play each other.     [/quote]Sounds like it is the travel.  Our school's 1st state championship, school coordinated 3 buses for students.  Lots of alums and parents/ex-parents/future families made it, too.

No one is hosting jubilees based on where they think the lacrosse finalists will be from.[/quote]
