They are definitely banking everything on their 2028's to change that.  Coppermine is attempting to take over the players that typically go to Skywalkers but it is hard to overcome SW recruiting history.  The 2027 SW team once again had a bunch of new girls added right before high school and is a better team than Coppermine 2027.  Coppermine's pre-high school teams are pretty much all better than SW but they really need this 2028 team to do well with recruiting in hopes that their younger team players won't jump ship.

I do think the top 6-7 girls on Coppermine will obviously be fine recruiting wise and get a ton of exposure, but if my kid was one of the ones that plays 5 minutes a game it might be time to look elsewhere for more playing time and better history of recruiting- this is how SW gets girls for high school.[/quote]

I agree with this especially about the girls who do not see the field and might start on any other number of too teams. That is the problem with the Coppermine model which has been spoken about so much here and on the MD blog. Would not be surprised if M&D, Hero’s or SW get a kid or two. [/quote]
