Families know, or should know, that you don't need to spend $30K+ a year to be able to play the game or show what you can do. Families also know that if you want to mortgage a house for junior to play, the better investment is to go to a prep that is a sports farm like IMG or Avon or Hun. I am pretty sure Landon is not trying to be a sports academy and is more interested in being a school.

I am not a Gonzaga dad or a Landon hater. I've been around and coached the game for decades locally and this year I expect will keep a trend going that will finally get noticed. There's some good lacrosse being played in Fairfax, Loudon, MoCo, Howard counties. Some very good lacrosse in some instances and there are some really outstanding players spread out onto those teams.[/quote]
