DCE 2021 Black apparently won all the big national tourneys over the summer, my son's friend is on the team and says their players are getting invited to the on campus college prospect days from all the top programs this fall and this DCE (9th grade) team is beating Varsity A teams on a regular basis in Next Level fall league. Another idiot dad/mom.  The team was very good (not as good now that 1/2 the starters left).  They won a couple tournaments in the summer, but not every one (impressive, nonetheless).  There are several kids on that team who are very good.  But getting invites to prospect days is common for all the top clubs.  And beating some Varsity teams in the Next Level league is not that impressive given who they played.

This comment is a prime example of why our son stopped playing lacrosse.  The parents behave this way, and then so do their sons.  My son was a decent player, but he was tired of the entitled attitude of some of the players, who ironically were not very good.  In fact the talented players were generally polite and courteous.  It was the ones who thought they were good that acted like complete jerks.  So glad we have moved on.[/quote]
