I am sorry for the confusion. What I meant was, did they play with Sweetlax in a summer league. And yes, I am ignorant but I'm trying to learn. My older son plays at a very high level in his sport and will play in college, and I was ignorant about that sport before we started all this, but I had other parents help me along the way, and I enjoy helping the up-and-coming parents as well. I really think you'll feel better about yourself if you try to be kind.
there are a handful of club teams that are very competitive at most birth years - Laxachusetts, Team 91, LI Express, FCA, Crabs, Madlax, 3D National, West Coast Starz and Sweetlax. Once in a while a team will come along that is good at one birth year like the Tenacious Turtles. But the above clubs are gateways to college. If you play for one of them you are very likely going to play college lacrosse at some level. Sweetlax has multiple teams, but the only one to play for is the National team. they play in great tourneys including in Lake Placid. There is no tryout - the guy who runs it has to select your child.
There are other clubs that excellent every year and are reliable gateways to college DI lacrosse - M+D, Capital, YellowJackets, Skywalkers, and a handful of others - girls clubs.
