It sounds like he was actively pursuing ICE, and didn’t move back/got in the way when they told him to move away.  If he was close enough to them to be tackled, he was too close.  Police/ICE have an obligation to enforce safe boundaries between them and people when they are pursuing, making arrests, on duty.  Then he goes and does it again a week later!  He and the women were too close to them and in the road and wouldn’t back away. They were both getting pushed back. The lady got shoved in the snow then he puts himself in the middle of that situation and it creates another escalation.  The gun complicated everything, unfortunately.  You don’t get into a physical confrontation with LEO while carrying a gun- you avoid this situation at all costs. [/quote]
