Kurds are about 10 percent of Iran's population. Using them to foment a civil war based on ethnicity is nuts. Persians and Azeris would crush them. Unless the US puts in ground troops to support the Kurds, which of course would unite all Iranians against America. I have no idea what the US is doing. It seems they are seeking the complete collapse of Iran and its descent into brutal civil war and chaos. But I guess Israel is calling the shots and they see that as a good outcome.
