1000% this. Go on any wedding board and they will tell you in no uncertain terms that it is bad form to get married and then have a second wedding to pretend to get married yet again. You get one wedding period.  For someone who's been married 3 previous times, she should be well aware the optics of this charade are not as favorable as she is desperately seeking. Don't almost all celebrity couples go on a private honeymoon away from the cameras instead of parading around Paris every.single.day to get pics? Then to hold yet another elaborate wedding to get more attention and pics. She needs to get a real life. [/quote]

That's the missing link she does not have...she knows the optics, i think she just doe not care. Because she believes she controls the narrative  largely due to her grandiosity and belief in the power of her own mind. She wants what she wants, and that's typically an over the top flashfest...whether in her performing, her clothing, her professional persona, etc. But most of all her love stories, the stories she tells herself. The love is always deeper, more special, she knows more now, blah blah blah..all things that you show peolle through time, not stuff you have to tell people, like we're all a bunch of seventeen year olds or born yesterday. Oh ok! She said it so it's true.... Jennifer Lopez lacks true humility. And she has an overwhelming capacity to rationalize, as does her new husband. (I heard her once say seriously that really she was truly only married once. ). Whatever. Who the hell knows what created her psyche? Trauma, narcissistic, emotionally immature parents, her having no guidance in young adulthood, emptiness she cannot face, willfullness that borders on pathology. I just don't know. Too much money and fame have made it all worse. It looks f'd up to a lot of us. [/quote]
