Which means those good private schools will have more resources to extend to more students (assuming they're not at capacity). If St Albans, for example, gets $100k in coupons, couldn't they give scholarships to 20 [b]more[/b] low-income kids?[/quote]

Or higher salaries.  Or more money to lobby for vouchers.  Lots of things they can do other than spend on [b]more[/b] low-income kids.[/quote]

That's a pretty cynical outlook. I trust the parochial schools more than the fly by night charters. I was pretty involved in my son's private Catholic high school and growing the financial aid fund to help more families was always a top priority.[/quote]
