Wow! Jennifer Aniston is smiling today.
Today I am so happy for Jennifer Aniston.
Seriously why? Only a really nasty person would be joyous that the parents or six children are divorcing.
Oh give it a rest. It is gratifying on some level when an unfaithful husband and the other woman in an affair end up getting divorced after all. Karma at its finest. No harm in stating the obvious.
Uh you realize Jolie and Pitt didn't carry on some long illicit affair right? It was all over the tabloids before this that Aniston and Pitt were having trouble. He meets Jolie and very soon after he divorces Aniston.
In some ways it is karma. Jolie also came between Laura Dern and Billy Bob Thorton. What goes around comes around. I feel bad for the kids, but not for Angelina.
She has also grown up, become a mother and an ambassador.
Sorry, don't see it. To me, she still looks nuts.
Agree. Think she just had phenomenal press/PR folks. Everyone seems to have forgotten what a complete nutjob she was, and the things she said and did. (The vials of blood?) Just because she started dressing like a lady doesn't mean she became one. BTW, that was Brad's influence, he did the same with JA--that's his taste in clothing. She dressed like a freak before. And she's nuts. She's admitted to cutting/self-mutilation, had mental health and substance abuse issues (heroin), etc. Doubt she'd flip a lid over Brad smoking pot.
I'm not an A.J. expert, but isn't it also well known that she had a very difficult childhood (weird dad who basically abandoned them, mom had cancer...)--I think it's entirely conceivable that she is one of the many people that had a messed up childhood, was pretty messed up as a young adult, but then gets it together when they become a parent and becomes really focused on NOT giving the same life to their children. I agree that a little pot probably wouldn't perturb anyone, but if it was chronic or if it was chronic pot mixed with a little coke and some occasional whatever else people are doing now....I can see her saying "this is not working." I disagree with some PPs that just because their nomadic means their children will not have normal lives. There are lots of okay ways to raise kids, so long as you love them. You don't need to live in an upscale suburb of LA to raise balanced children--particularly when you have multiple kids so they always have a playmate. I admire Jennifer Garner for trying to give her kids a "normal" American childhood, but I also don't think that "normal" is the end-all be-all. Lots of kids have different versions of "normal" and they turn out okay.
