Yes, the Duke players were falsely accused of committing a crime.  They were NOT, however, falsely accused of engaging in immoral behavior.  The behavior that they acknowledged engaging in should be critized itself.  Your comment reflects the very unfortunate overeaction of the many knee jerk liberals who jumped too far too quickly based on partial facts.  BTW.  I am a liberal, but I try to think first.[/quote]
I thought the satirical nature of my post was obvious.  Guess not.  So, PP, now you know.  It was critical of Landon (as the word "scandals" suggests).  Notwithstanding that, the Duke case did involve perjury on the part of the accuser--a fact fair- minded people will acknowledge.[/quote]
