Sanders said that experience in foreign policy is relevant but is not everything and that good judgement is just as important. He then said that Cheney was experienced in foreign policy but his judgement was terrible - to make his point. It is an entirely valid comparison in that context.

Leaving aside whether your argument is valid, if Sanders is the nominee who do you think these groups are going to support as an alternative on the Republican side? They will either support him or not vote. Unless you think they are going to vote for Trump or Cruz![/quote]

Planned Parenthood was the subject of a recent terrorist attack. Republicans continually try to cripple it. Labeling as "establishment" an organization that provides healthcare for many poor women and women of color is just plain stupid if you're a Democrat, and it's also completely counter to the message that you want to reduce inequality. This was not a fight he needed to pick. He just did it because he's pissed off that he didn't get these endorsements. [/quote]
