I guess I'm just having a hard time caring. I'd have a similar hard time whether it was a single mom or black kids vs 2 parents and rich white kids. They would have returned in 2 hrs, cranked up the heat and gone home. And if something did happen -- they're the ones who'd have to live with it; much different from the random school/mall/movie theater shootings where someone's acts affect other families.

And for the PP who says that she's be so shocked and scared if she stumbled upon a parked car with 2 kids strapped in -- [b]why exactly!? They're not YOUR kids.[/b] I'd hope I'd at least motivate myself to call 911 and mosey along.[/quote]
