Just read a long article about the situation where he was living. It seems like the surrounding hamlets in Liberia found out the woman had ebola from OUR media. Apparently, her parents denied ebola and said that she had malaria. They also claimed that she was in preterm labor. I can see how the whole pregnancy thing can catch people off guard, distract them, and make them think otherwise. The parents lied and they eventaully died. Locals were about to threaten their lives for being dishonest, but retribution is not possible since they are dead. Half of her complex died of ebola and she was the first case. They were influential (landlords/owned the "apartments") and selfish. [/quote]
