If you answered anything but yes to any of those questions, you are clearly okay with killing on some level, just not this one.

In a death penalty case, a group of individuals has agreed that another individual deserves to die.

In a war, individuals make decisions to kill other individuals.

People who eat meat make the decision to consume the bodies of animals who have been killed and support industries that cause those deaths.

Unless you call all soldiers, people who sit on death penalty case juries and the judges who preside over those cases (as well as the staff of the prisons and the people who administer the drugs), and everyone who consumes animal products a "murderer", you are on very slippery ground.

I don't think that anyone ever denied that abortion was killing. There are various arguments about when life begins, but when I had my abortion, I knew that I was ending a life. It was not an easy decision. Telling me that I'm a murderer or an assassin would not have changed my decision then nor would such accusations cause me to feel regret now.

Many people are casual about military service. Does that make them depraved?[/quote]
