Of course the birth mother has bonded with the child. No one is questioning that.

But the question remains, what is best for the child?

The couple here actively pursued finding them and they came to a mutual agreement.

We also don't know that their circumstances if they already had kids, how long it took to find them, and how they felt.

People donate eggs and sperm all the time, so may not have the same feelings about genetics. [/quote]
