Did you ask AI to wrote this for you? I don't think bias means what you think it means. For instance, I don't like Nazis. I am admittedly biased against them and their ideology. Should I apologize for believing a biased narrative? Make it make sense. P.S. Absolutely no horse in the DCI race. No kids there. Don't know anyone there. Just annoyed by logic failures.
I do have a horse in the race. I've seen some of the emails my kid has received from staff - about why they are being let go or why their contract is not being renewed. It is literally the textbook definition of biased - as they are only receiving one side of the story. The school cannot state why they let people go. They might have good reason - I don't know. I know that some students are getting one side.
You miss the point! It is all kinds of dumb to claim the someone is operating on a "biased narrative". It isn't wrong to have a bias. Two kinds of people talk like you: (1) those who insist there are "two valid sides" to a discussion or (2) those who think only they can reach a reasoned logical conclusion and anyone who disagrees is "biased". Both are silly. There aren't two sides to every story or argument. Sometimes there's one (Nazis bad) and sometime there are 3 or 4. People can also look at the same facts and reach different conclusions. They aren't "biased" just because they disagree with you. Doesn't speak well for DCI (and how you view the education at DCI) that you assume your DCI educated kids can't consume available information and reach an informed conclusion.
