DD felt strongly about the environment; felt safe and joyful at the same time. It's a lot to give up a spot at Sidwell but I agree with her that her best fit is GDS, and I loved the school as well. Crossing fingers. Let them know. A child in my kid's class got off the waitlist last year. There might not be a lot of movement, but there will be some.
