DP. I shop with my wallet. If Amazon has what I want cheaper, I buy it from Amazon. I'm not buying, for example, a book for full listed price at a mom & pop bookstore when I can buy the same book for 40% off on Amazon. If a small business wants to survive, get a better business plan. Not my problem![/quote]
I hope you like paying more taxes to support all those people who are so poorly paid by the likes of Amazon and Walmart that they get government services (paid by you) and don’t pay taxes (so your share is much higher).  I hope you like a stunted local economy so your neighbors can’t find jobs and therefore have to rely on government help to pay for their rent and food (which you have to pay for through higher taxes and again have to pay a higher share of the local taxes to educate their children).
