This part isn’t really true. Some years ACHS placement is great, other years middling.

The real difference is that it is much easier to be in the top 10% in ACHS versus Arlington high schools, which makes college acceptance easier (as colleges evaluate students against their peers at their school).[/quote]

This is the point I was making.

You, on the other hand, changed your point from saying the top 10% of college placements are better at ACHS than Arlington schools (probably true some years, but mostly not) to instead saying that UMC white kids place better coming out of Alexandria than Arlington (which is often true, because it is easier to be top at ACHS, whereas even the middle of the pack or lower at Arlington schools are still UMC white kids). If this is the point you wanted to make the first time, don’t get mad at anyone else because you failed to do so.[/quote]

I didn't change the point. You just needed to hear it three times in two different ways. The top 10% of ACHS kids are UMC white kids and they do better than the top 10% from Arlington. Why that bothers you is a you issue, not a me issue.[/quote]
