If a woman wants to have a child some man will need to be involved.

With younger generations having children later in life why does anyone think the pressure to have a child comes from a man?

Men generally earn more than women. An older single man seems more socially acceptable than an older single woman. Men rarely get asked, “don’t you want kids?” Divorce is usually more financially disruptive to a man’s finances. Frankly, men should avoid marrying women.

There are plenty of divorced women to date if you want a sexual relationship without the complications of long term commitment.

What do you mean “lies about who he is?”  Reputable sperm banks vet donors very, very carefully.  They record height, weight, hair and eye color, and other physical characteristics. Birth certificates, photo ID, copies of medical records, and a full family medical history are required.  They undergo genetic testing, sperm testing, rigorous screening, and multiple in-person interviews with followups to fact check claims.  Random winos off the street and kids doing it just for beer money are rejected. They follow a strict and elaborate chain of custody to prevent substitutions and mixups.  Typically, only 1-5% of applicants qualify.  It’s as difficult as getting into Harvard.
