I believe this explains it: For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with diverse lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. (2 Timothy 3:6) Left wing women are led away captive by the media or, coming from a single mother household, there is no father to protect the girl from leftist influences that corrupt her mind. If the young women go to college, they do not learn truth but believe that a man is a woman if he claims he is, and that if communism is tried a little harder it will provide prosperity for everyone fairly. The things that pass for knowledge I don’t understand —Steely Dan
Do the girls in your cult have to go live in a tent during their time of the month? And do not quote Steely Dan in support of this nonsense. Donald Fagen would kick you from here to Sunday for misappropriating his lyrics like that.
Christianity is not a cult. Back in ancient times when the Old Testament was written, there were no flush toilets, no tampons or sterile pads. Rather than the woman dripping blood all over the floor or her nasty rag falling out, the woman was placed where she could menstruate without contaminating the living quarters. There were also no microwaves, so eating pork or shellfish could kill you. People are still getting sick today eating raw shellfish and undercooked pork. There were also no hot water washing machines with detergents to destroy lice and flea eggs which could proliferate if using mixed fabrics because the space between the mixed fabric afforded an excellent breeding ground which could allow for the spreading of plagues. Fagan’s lyrics are applicable to some of the nonsense college students are being taught. Charlie Kirk had to go to these colleges to show ignorant college kids the truth about communism, abortion, and trans crap.
I already know all that, Sherlock. I wasn’t asking for a lecture on the hygienic practices of desert nomads from two millennia ago. I was asking about you specifically, because you sound like exactly the sort of deranged weirdo who literally keeps women under lock and key and ends up as a newspaper headline. If you haven’t been to college, then your opinions are meaningless. As Bob Dylan said, “Don’t criticize what you can’t understand”.
OP here (of the post you responded to). I have a college degree along with other academic certifications. My learning did not stop after getting a diploma; therefore, my opinions are not meaningless. My wife (free in Jesus, not under locks) and children are also Christians. The Bible is our ultimate and final authority concerning human origins and proper sexual behavior, not some circus freak with Kool-aid colored hair splattered with tattoos like a dumpster covered in graffiti, prattling ignorantly about White privilege, trans garbage, and anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-capitalist nonsense.
You keep insisting that the Bible is your “ultimate and final authority,” but everything you’ve written so far sounds a lot more like culture‑war talk radio than anything Jesus actually said. If you’re going to invoke Christianity as your moral foundation, then maybe revisit the parts of Scripture where Christ Himself lays out what He expects from His followers, because the Gospels don’t support the contempt, fear, and dehumanization you’re peddling. In the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke, Jesus teaches: - humility, not self‑righteousness - compassion, not insults - generosity, not obsession with policing other people’s lives - rejecting greed and materialism, not defending them - treating women with dignity and equality, not reducing them to “silly” or “corrupted” - welcoming the stranger, giving shelter to refugees, not demonizing migrants - caring for the poor, the sick, the outcasts and the marginalized, not mocking them - loving your neighbor, not dividing the world into “pure” and “impure” And unlike you and unlike the corruption in later church hierarchy, Jesus didn’t treat women as second‑class citizens. He treated them with respect and dignity, taught them, spoke with them publicly, defended them, and entrusted them with the first proclamation of the Resurrection. That’s in contradiction to your infantilizing "women need a father to protect them from leftist influence" worldview. You also keep reaching back to Old Testament purity laws to justify modern prejudices, while ignoring the fact that Jesus explicitly rejected those purity codes. He touched lepers, ate with outcasts, healed on the Sabbath, and repeatedly condemned people who used Scripture as a weapon to elevate themselves over others. So you haven't actually learned the teachings and commands of Christ. If you want to follow the Bible, start with the parts where Christ tells you what that actually looks like. Your posts sound less like Christianity and more like a fraudulent political grievance machine with a few cherrypicked hateful verses taped to the side.
