The superficiality would be hilarious if it weren't so sad.

The trade deficit did not drop because we are selling more overseas.  That would be a good thing.

We are selling less.  And importing less.  Just look at the 12 billion dollar farm bail out for an example of our selling less abroad.  And people dialing back on Christmas because we are importing less.

Now, combine this with China hitting a 1 trillion dollar trade surplus last week and it is pretty evident that Trump Tariffs as a cudgel haven't worked well.  Or even at all.[/quote]
