Many of their IEPs indicate use of highlighters and I was like, “how can I provide this needed accommodation with a school issued book?”  I am still new at this Special Ed gig so I am very much worried about compliance.[/quote]

Did you ask? Did the school offer digital versions that would allow for highlighting? Was it specific to physical highlights?[/quote]
