I’m 100% like you! I had some real rollercoaster experiences growing up as wealthy-adjacent (UMC) and then not wealthy at all (MC), and now back to UMC, maybe could someday be wealthy. But my priority is that my children have a good education and don’t feel this horrible pressure to keep up with the Joneses. That being said, I hope I’m making the right choices. But no, not flashy, at all, drive a dented minivan much of the time, but do have some nice jewelry. Try to wear decent clothes but tbh love the value of Costco clothes, so my soul is not flashy.
