There are no Hamas members interested in peace with Israel.  Hamas, by definition, is dedicated to the elimination of the Jewish state and of the Jews as a people.  Hamas "negotiators" are merely stalling for time to try to allow Hamas to reconstitute itself while they support the fiction and propaganda message that they are willing to negotiate. DO. I’m not sure about that. You can suppress the idea and the people spouting the ideas, but you cannot kill the ideas. For instance, white nationalism and supremacy ideas were suppressed in the USA for maybe a generation, two tops. And then Trump came along and told those holding such ideas that it was okay and those people started shedding their hoods and began speaking and acting in their white nationalism and supremacy.
