But affluent people who force great kids to major in tough subjects that they hate just to chase high starting salaries are annoying. If the kids choose to try to chase high salaries: Great. If parents are poor and have to push children toward self-sufficiency early: That’s life. If bossy parents with money bully kids into following a path that’s a bad fit: That’s awful. [/quote]
