Does he have MS or something similar that causes relapses and flare ups? Looking at his old videos his leg is stiff but the limp isn't that bad. I don't think he had the cane using their first trip either[/quote]

Looked like he used a brace on the trip. He said he was diagnosed with lesions on his spine in his 20s, but the cause is unknown. Could be something autoimmune, since he does seem to have flareups. [/quote]
