Is MVP’s position still that they “have no additional details” about this case? From the case documents being available to the public, I hope that is not their stance and they keep us updated instead of hoping that we forget about this.[/quote]

MVP is a parent volunteer run organization for summer swim. Different than swim teams like ASA, which is a club team.

That may be true, but if they knew of the police report, even if it didn't result in an arrest, they had a responsibility to keep him away from the kids in at least in such a highly interactive role as team photographer.

I doubt they knew of the police report- there was no arrest (unfortunately) in 2023. It’s not something Mahony advertised I am sure.  The wife on the other hand definitely knew and allowed him to be around children- just terrible. [/quote]

Are we certain that this trip wasn’t already planned? Most swim families wait until August to travel and if her family lives in Japan, visiting in August is not unusual. The feds will be able to see when those flights were booked.

In the forensic interview of one of the victims, the victim said he thought the defendant's son may have seen what was going on but may have not because he was so focused on playing the video game he was playing. This was the incident in which Thomas, the victim, and one of Thomas's sons were all in a bedroom together. Thomas rubbed the victim's penis over his clothes.
