The math did not make sense at all.  Devon told Kiki that she was 12 when her mom died so that’s 5 year age difference.  Which would mean Simone was at least 12 or 13 when Devon went to college.  And I don’t think it’s credible a 13 year old would starve in her room if her parent didn’t feed her.  I actually had a friend growing up that was a foster kid because his parents stopped caring for him when he was that age but he definitely didn’t starve.  They just stole money from their parents and then bought Doritos.  It was the ttruant officer that really pulled him in.

I liked the show because I love Julianne Moote and Megan Fahey.  And also love the actor that plays ray.   But it really needed a good edit, and I was disappointed with the end.  They made Kiki kind of an interesting complicated figure but then made Peter just a flat caricature.

And neither one would kick someone out with just the clothes on their back.  Simone was kicked out without her medication, or a phone, or any money …. She had  several things she could sue for.  In reality you’d get some sort of payout probably in the 6 figures in exchange for a general telease and could take at least some of the stuff you’d acquired.  [/quote]
