No they’re not. The settlers are as crazy as Hamas and certainly not above taking out Jewish PM’s (see Rabin). Netanyhau has allowed them to not get drafted. His hands are tied by them because he needs their support. Netanyahus lack of wisdom is why he is in the predicament he is in now. He aided and abetted  the absolute worst extremists  of the region: settlers and Hamas and expected things to turn out ok.   Peace and understanding is no utopia for Netanyahu. He gambled against peace and two state solutions, choosing violence and war and extremist groups as his legacy [/quote]
