Trump's popularity has already fallen into the 30s and will continue to collapse. His support has always been thin. By historical measures, Trump will go down as the most unpopular president in history. The bigger story though is why do Democrats keep losing to this guy? Just how repellent does a party have to be to lose to Donald Trump - twice? It starts with the colossal arrogance of the Biden administration, the DNC, and donors for inflicting a rapidly declining 83 year old geriatric on the country as the only anti-Trump choice. That was the original sin that doomed Democrats. Biden was manifestly incapable of being president for another four years and yet Democrats insisted that Biden was the only viable candidate. This was an institutional failure by the Democratic Party and it demonstrated to everyone that the party cannot be trusted. And then replacing Biden at the last minute with an unpopular California wine mom who could not speak coherently on basic policy issues sealed the collapse. Harris had no base of support. When she ran for president the first time, she couldn't even make it through the Iowa caucuses. Neither Biden nor Harris were ever popular, movement leaders - like Obama, like Bill Clinton. It was like the leadership of the Democratic Party had been hijacked by idiots and they were determined to inflict their out of touch stupidity on the rest of the world. So here we are. The problem now is that Democrats have settled on being passive. They're going to kick back and watch Trump self destruct. And in the meantime, there is no reflection at all on all the unpopular positions that progressives have inflicted on their communities - from illegal migrants to crime to out of control schools to racial preferences in hiring to yes, even the trans thing, which many women take as an attack for simply being a woman. Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries are both dolts. Until there is a new generation of Democrats that prioritize the economic and kitchen table issues that most Americans care about, I fear Democrats are going to continue to lose in the years ahead. Bad candidates, bad policies, and a leadership that hates voters do not win elections. Trump will be gone soon enough. But even after all this chaos, if Republicans nominate even a semi-sane nominee, they are still going to win. Democrats need a revolution from within. And that's not happening. It's still the party of corporate DNC morons and blue-haired masked loons. I'm not optimistic.
don't forget the 15,000,000 illegal aliens that flooded the southern border as Biden said there was nothing he could do. until he did something. Democrats have allowed idiots to run the party.
Biden had to do the same kinds of TEMPORARY workarounds that Trump did in his first term. Workarounds that eventually got shot down by the courts because they weren't legally sound. Thats the stuff that you idiots don't understand. TEMPORARY is TEMPORARY. Immigration reform LEGISLATION is in fact needed, as Joe stated. There is only so much the President can do within the framework.
