60% of US workers do not have a college degree https://www.bls.gov/emp/tables/educational-attainment.htm And DCUM believes most of the country cares about the stock market ? They are just trying to survive the overwhelming immigration pushed by urban elites
Baby, when these 401k "elites" you speak of will stop spending because they see their nest egg disappearing, believe me, the restaurant worker will notice, the landscaper will notice, the contractor will notice, the hairdresser will notice, the car salesman will notice. It's all tied together. The last thing on their mind will be the immigrants at that point.
I can’t believe PP thinks that people who didn’t go to college don’t have 401ks or any interest in stocks. Yet it’s the dems who are supposed to be so elitist? There are some extremely stupid people posting here. I can’t believe this site is known for intelligence.
Yes, it's all tied together, that is why it's absurd that Democrats think they can bring in immigrants to isolated segments of the economy and not have weird effects. Why have we been so into tech all these years, well that is where the cheap labor is at. People investing in their 401k put their money into cheap labor body shops instead of growing the broader economy. Then they whine, but they have cheap labor in strawberries, but we can't make any money in dairy because dairy isn't seasonal, so you'll just have to give us more immigrants so the dairy farmers can be profitable. What about manufacturing, if we can just have some cheap marginalized labor for manufacturing. If we can just hire some of those H-1Bs from academia, we can have AI... Oh, now we're all underpaid, go figure.
