To the woman who has decided not to have children in light of the past two weeks, I urge you to get some mental health support. Things might feel out of control at the moment, but you are planning to alter the course of your life, deprive yourself of having children (that you want, apparently) and wallow in self-pity for the rest of your life because Donald Trump was elected president? Of all the unhinged things I have read on this thread, this takes the cake. And it's emblematic of the insidious victim mentality of the left. Don't let four years of a president you don't agree with waste your one, precious opportunity to have children. Eggs expire, you know? Can you imagine looking back on your life and realizing you didn't have CHILDREN because of some blip on the political radar?
NP. It’s actually a very informed decision. Climate change and the continued destruction of the environment aren’t just a blip to anyone educated on such matters.
People didn’t stop having children when the Holocoast, Black Death, or Great Depression was happening. You are a uniquely narcissistic and spoiled person with no ability to see outside of yourself and realize that people alive today have it better than anyone in human history. Get over yourself. SMH.
So you're equating this time to the Holocaust, the Black death, the Great depression and you're shrugging your shoulders and saying get over it.
Um, no. I’m saying that we are spoiled as hell and you would have a panic attack if you were dropped anywhere in the world in 1942 or 1918, let alone sometime in the 1400s. You can have someone deliver food from any restaurant you want with an app, have a supercomputer on your phone, and live a very prosperous, peaceful life compared to literally anytime else in human history. Get over yourselves with all the kvetching about how bad you have it and how bad the world is. Read a book about World War I and imagine if you had to run into Gatling gun fire from a rat infested trench or else get shot by your superiors. Get some historical context and have some appreciation for how good you have it and stop whining. Christ!!!
