WL is fine but deferring students who applied in EA and asking them to shift to ED2 is not good. They can remove EA and RD for all I care and have an endless cycle of EDs. Just be transparent about it so that students clearly know what to expect. [/quote]

Since all of this is very well documented, I think it is fair to assume that students (and more importantly- their parents) clearly know what to expect.  There are countless pages bashing UChicago on this very topic on this forum alone.  If you believe that they only admit in ED rounds -- why bother applying EA/RD? Get your facts straight and make a decision that makes sense for you and your child.  Nobody has been banned from google.[/quote]

We are just trying to educate more students. Why are you getting upset if we are just repeating well documented things? Google can handle additional data. [/quote]
