a) 18 year olds rarely grasp the magnitude. 
b) People think education = jobs = money = ability to pay off.
c) Many jobs REQUIRE degrees. Even jobs that shouldn't.
d) the loans are predatory and are given out willy nilly. This allows people borrow and borrow and permits colleges to continue to raise tuition. If you've paid it off and still have thousands left over in debt, which are not dischargable, why is this allowed?
e) Corporations claim bankruptcy and get their debts wiped ALL THE TIME. Corps get subsidies. Farmers get subsidies, including to NOT GROW certain things. No one is bent out of shape over those. Only the working class folks who could get a small break. You all are a bunch of sheep. And corporate shills. And you don't even know it. [/quote]
