Good lord. Very, very few people here are claiming that NU isn't a great school. I think the debate is whether it's [i]dramatically [/i]better than UCLA or Michigan. If you view the mere suggestion that NU might be compared to those schools as hate or criticism, I'd suggest reflecting on why NU's relative prestige is so important to you.[/quote]

Bingo. I’m sure my kid isn’t the only one who didn’t have any interest in applying to NU. One of the few Top 20 they didn’t apply to, as it turned out.
