Kamala is seen as left of Biden and Hillary. Her pick of Tim Walz didn't help moderate her canidacy. She needed a strong, white, moderate male with name recognition. I think Mark Kelly would have been a much better pick. I had never heard of Tim Walz before she picked him. While he seems like a nice, next-door neighbor type of guy, he did not instill strength or confidence as the second in command.

I voted for them but not enthusiastically. As someone who has never voted for a Republican for President, I knew if I wasn't enthusiastic, I knew those to the right of me politically weren't going to be.

I like Tim Walz a lot and in theory they were a good match. But why she didn’t pick Josh Shapiro knowing how crucial PA was and that Minnesota was already a lock, I’m not sure. It wouldn’t have mattered probably given she underperformed in every swing state but it’s a strange misstep in hindsight. What votes was Walz supposed to pull? [/quote]

Walz was supposed to get all the progressive Midwestern whites guys who had lied about their military records and wanted their major cities to burn down. And apparently both of them actually did vote for Kamala. So, mission accomplished, Tim! See you in 4 years when Claudine Gay needs a VP who gives her cred in the Flyover states. [/quote]
