There are so many ways to avoid pregnancy (I remember being 23, horny but a student with big plans, and I was on birth control, used a condom, made him pull out, AND made sure it wasn’t during my ovulation window; iuds weren’t even a thing back then), and yes, of course shit sometimes happens and it’s necessary or a good idea to abort, and I think it should be accessible and safe to do so, but there’s no reason to fret over it 24/7. I feel like I missed some fundamental part of being a woman in that I didn’t spend thirty years obsessing over possibly getting pregnant. [/quote]

I didn’t fear getting pregnant but I did fear conceiving a disabled child. And there are ladies on this thread who wouldn’t let me terminate a genetically abnormal fetus. [/quote]
