I bought a teardown 24 years ago, and we worked on it over time and I now have a $2 million home. Isn't that what people used to do. I never thought I was entitled to a huge house and a fancy kitchen at that age. I could have purchased a more updated home farther out, but I opted for a fixer-upper inside the city. It's about choices. It never dawned on me that I was entitled to live anywhere.[/quote]
