Not every student pays full fare at Yale, or any Ivy for that matter.  In 2021 54% of first-year students received need-based financial aid at Yale.  Going to Yale, Harvard, Princeton, etc. can be life changing and would be tough to pass up for anyone.[/quote]

It’s a matter of personal preference. Some families prioritize degrees over tuition as they see as investment with great turn; others may think differently. You are free to decide for your own but do not judge how others prioritize.

I can almost guarantee you these kids will not be buried in loans. Their parents have been playing for private schools and will probably cover 4 more years. Some of the hs tuitions are just as much as Ivy. [/quote]
