Kids making decisions to have sex in impulsive ways that you describe also cannot reliably be expected or counted upon to practice safe sex. The same impulsive, unplanned behavior you’re using to justify giving them condoms also undermines any realistic expectation that they will be responsible when engaging the behavior that you claim is inevitable.[/quote]

If a guy or girl goes out with a condom in their pocket, are you saying they won’t use it because impulsive sex always equals unsafe sex?

And you think well thought out relationships won’t have sex if there is no protection? They will just choose abstinence?

Most high schoolers have sex which is why you can get contraception for free. Whether a parent offers birth control or not, isn’t going to sway a teen who wants to have sex. They will regardless.

And a teen that isn’t having sex isn’t going to see condoms in their house and go ok now let me go find someone to screw tonight.
