I just won't vote
Then you lose the right to complain about the conditions for the following four years. Your refusal to vote means that you are allowing other people's votes to decide which party philosophy will be dominant for the following four years. You let others decide, then you live the the consequences of their decisions with the same level of commitment you gave when you decided not to commit to either party candidate.
Lol you think you make the rules? Why do you think Americans have to commit to either party candidate? They both stink. As Americans we have the right to vote or not. We don’t have to vote for candidates we don’t like. Get a grip.
This exactly. My rights, as enumerated in the Constitution, are not contingent on me voting. And I have a right to complain.
And everyone else has a right to dismiss complaints from people that can't even bother to vote.
It’s not that they can’t bother to vote. It’s that the choices available are so bad, that one prefers to state one’s opinion by not voting for either.
A lot of Americans share this sentiment and for this reason, I don't think the Trump and Biden campaigns will be able to dupe as many people into voting for their awful candidates in 2024 as they did in 2020.
Incorrect. The hordes that showed up to protect this country from Trump will be back bigger and stronger .
American voters aren't showing up in hordes to vote for Trump and Biden. We aren't that stupid collectively. They will get a portion of the same careless voters that blindly vote straight party tickets every election but they won't convince 155 million people to vote for them again.
Wrong. The stakes are even higher and the voters know it.
