The parents really wanted an Ivy and the NESCAC-like Ivy Dartmouth deferred in ED. The kid ultimately rejected by Dartmouth in RD, but in @ Cornell and a couple of NESCACs. Parents made him take Cornell. Told DC its okay, but thinks a smaller school would've been better. [/quote] My son first liked Cornell when we toured last summer, but then decided it was too big and he didn't like the vibe come November. He did not apply to any large schools. 2k-7k seems to be the range he likes. He's not big into football culture. Complete opposite of me:). [/quote]
