You can't keep focus on the issues presented, or you don't want to, trying to make it about the other person -- and make incorrect inferences about a poster's children, interactions, research, etc., positing them as if they were fact along the way, throwing shades instead of informing.  On the same anonymous forum.

One wonders what drives such fear of information exchange and open critique.

BTW, MCPS HS course catalogs, as far as they go for being accurate/complete, suggest the differences mentioned.  Only if you actually look at them, though.[/quote]

You seem to have a need to paint the person to whom you respond as having some fault of character or as having been [i]personally wronged[/i] by MCPS.  Presumably, this is either because you don't want to tackle the issues or you don't want to fathom that someone without such conditions simply could be pointing out where MCPS [i]is[/i] wrong.

The discussion of IB, here, specifically overbooked interest in RMIB and the possible reasons for that when comparing the countywide magnet RMIB program to regional/local programs, highlights a long-standing MCPS failure to provide enough enriched programming to meet the needs of students, especially in serving similar students similarly across the varying county locales.  That is an equity issue.[/quote]
